Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What makes the Buffalo Bore .44 S&W Special Strictly Business ammunition unique?

A: The Buffalo Bore .44 S&W Special Strictly Business ammunition is unique due to its use of the 200gr Barnes TAC-XP bullet. This lead-free bullet is designed for optimal expansion and penetration, making it highly effective for self-defense situations. The load also offers high velocity (1100 fps) and energy (537 ft lbs) for a .44 Special cartridge, enhancing its stopping power.

Q: Is this ammunition suitable for concealed carry?

A: Yes, this ammunition is well-suited for concealed carry in .44 Special revolvers. The Barnes TAC-XP bullet is designed to expand reliably at the lower velocities typical of short-barreled revolvers, making it effective for self-defense. However, users should be aware that the high-performance nature of this load may increase recoil compared to standard .44 Special ammunition.

Q: Can this ammunition be used in .44 Magnum revolvers?

A: Yes, this .44 Special ammunition can be safely used in .44 Magnum revolvers. However, it's important to note that it will not generate .44 Magnum-level performance. Q: What is the significance of the Barnes TAC-XP bullet?

A: The Barnes TAC-XP (Tactical Expanding) bullet is a solid copper hollow point designed for optimal expansion and penetration. It's lead-free, which makes it compliant with regulations in certain jurisdictions. The bullet is known for its ability to retain nearly 100% of its weight upon expansion, ensuring deep penetration and a large wound channel, which are crucial factors in self-defense situations.

Q: How many rounds come in a box and case of this ammunition?
