Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What makes the Browning TSS Tungsten Turkey ammunition effective for turkey hunting?

A: The Browning TSS Tungsten Turkey ammunition is highly effective for turkey hunting due to its Tungsten Super Shot (TSS) composition, which is denser than lead. The #7/9 shot combination provides excellent pattern density and penetration. The 3 1/2" shell length and 2 1/4 oz payload deliver maximum power and range, making it ideal for taking down turkeys at extended distances.

Q: What is the advantage of using a mixed shot size of #7 and #9?

A: The mixed shot size of #7 and #9 offers a balance between penetration and pattern density. The larger #7 shot provides deeper penetration for vital organ hits, while the smaller #9 shot increases the pellet count, resulting in denser patterns. This combination improves the chances of a clean, ethical kill on turkeys at various ranges.

Q: Is this ammunition suitable for all 12 gauge shotguns?

A: This ammunition is designed for 12 gauge shotguns that can handle 3 1/2" shells. Not all 12 gauge shotguns are chambered for 3 1/2" shells, so it's crucial to check your shotgun's specifications before use. Additionally, due to the dense tungsten shot, it's recommended to use this ammunition only in shotguns rated for steel or tungsten loads.

Q: How many rounds come in a box, and how many boxes are in a case?

A: Each box of Browning TSS Tungsten Turkey ammunition contains 5 rounds. A full case consists of 10 boxes, totaling 50 rounds per case.

Q: What is the muzzle velocity of this ammunition?

A: The muzzle velocity of this Browning TSS Tungsten Turkey ammunition is 1200 feet per second (fps).

Q: Is this ammunition considered hazardous for shipping purposes?

A: Yes, this ammunition is considered hazardous for air shipping purposes, as indicated by the 'hazair: Y' field in the product data. Special shipping arrangements may be required, and additional fees may apply for air transportation.
