Norma 9mm TMJ FAQ:
FMJ projectiles have exposed lead at their base. TMJ projectiles are completely encased in a copper jacket.
TMJ rounds were created for shooting at indoor ranges, where lead exposure may be more of an issue than it is shooting outdoors.
TMJ bullets do not expand upon impact. This means if you shoot an object, the round may continue through and into the object behind. As a result, it is recommended to only use TMJ rounds for practice.
