Viridian Launches VENTA Green Dot Optic Featuring 2 MOA Reticle

Viridian Weapon Technologies has expanded its optics lineup with the release of the VENTA Green Dot, a compact rifle-mounted sight designed for shooters who value speed, simplicity, and low overall weight. The VENTA uses a 2 MOA green dot paired with a 1x22 mm fully multi-coated lens, delivering a sharp sight picture and dependable visibility across varied lighting environments.

Built for real-world use, the optic is enclosed in a rugged housing rated to IPX7 waterproof standards, providing protection against rain, moisture, and general environmental exposure commonly encountered in duty or outdoor conditions.

At approximately five ounces, the VENTA keeps weight to a minimum, making it well suited for modern rifle configurations where balance and maneuverability matter. According to Viridian, the high-visibility green dot combined with the lightweight aluminum construction supports fast target acquisition and smooth transitions, whether mounted on defensive carbines, patrol rifles, or recreational platforms.

The control layout is intentionally straightforward, allowing quick brightness adjustments and easy operation under stress. The optic is also engineered to withstand repeated use on centerfire rifles without compromising zero or reliability.
