Several international ammunition manufacturers have paused shipments to the U.S. while they navigate the implications of these newly imposed tariffs:

• Igman, STV Group, Belom, ZSR, and BPS: Shipments are currently on hold as these companies evaluate the financial impact of the tariffs and engage in tariff negotiations.

• Fiocchi: Has indicated no planned price increases at this time, though if adjustments become necessary, they will aim to keep them minimal.

• Magtech: Has not yet provided an update regarding shipment status or potential price changes, we are waiting to hear more soon.

Shipping Timelines and Supply Risks

• Under normal conditions, port-to-port shipments take approximately 40–45 days to reach the U.S.

• If delays extend beyond this window, we could see inventory constraints developing around the 90-day mark, potentially impacting availability and pricing.

Predicted Market Effects

• Delays and added tariff costs may lead to price increases, especially for foreign calibers with limited domestic alternatives.

• 7.62x39, a popular caliber with minimal U.S. production, could experience shortages if the situation persists beyond 90 days as most of the 7.62x39 comes from imports.

• Other popular calibers like 5.56 may also be affected, depending on demand and how long international supply remains restricted.

• U.S. manufacturers are expected to increase domestic output to help stabilize the market and reclaim ground from import-reliant competitors.
