TALO Distributors has unveiled an eye-catching new Ruger SR1911 exclusive that features a distinctive Cobalt Blue PVD finish on select components. This latest collaboration with Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. presents a visually arresting contrast between the pistol's stainless steel frame and its vibrant blue accents. Designated as Model #06799, this special edition also incorporates custom G10 grips that complement its unique aesthetic appeal.
This classic .45 Auto pistol combines traditional 1911 performance with contemporary styling. Standard features include a low-glare stainless finish, Novak sights, and skeletonized hammer and trigger. The package comes complete with both 8-round and 7-round magazines. This exclusive model is currently in inventory and should be available through authorized TALO member distributors.
For those unfamiliar, TALO operates as a wholesale buying cooperative that partners with premium manufacturers to create distinctive firearms for their dealer network. Their special edition programs have generated over one million dollars for various organizations, including the USA Shooting Team, Semper Fi Fund, Navy SEAL Foundation, Navy SEAL Museum, Mule Deer Foundation, and Marine Raiders.
The striking Cobalt Blue PVD treatment has been applied to multiple components: the trigger, grip safety, hammer, screws, barrel bushing, safety lever, slide stop, and magazine release. The firearm features a traditional 5-inch barrel length, creating a balanced profile that maintains the classic 1911 silhouette while showcasing its distinctive blue hardware.
