Stoeger Introduces Specialized Turkey Hunting Shotguns for 2025

Following its centennial celebration last year, Stoeger Industries – a Benelli subsidiary known for importing quality firearms – is expanding its popular semi-automatic shotgun line. For 2025, the company unveils dedicated turkey hunting variants of its well-regarded M3000 and M3020 shotguns in 12-gauge and 20-gauge respectively.

The Turkey Edition builds upon Stoeger's reliable inertia-driven M3000 platform, optimized specifically for turkey hunting applications. The 12-gauge version accepts both 2¾" and 3" shells with a four-round capacity and features a 22" barrel. Each shotgun comes equipped with an extended extra-full thread-in choke tube compatible with the Beretta/Benelli Mobil pattern.

Both models incorporate a vent-rib barrel with a high-visibility green Hi Viz fiber optic front sight. The 12-gauge M3000's receiver comes drilled and tapped for mounting red dot sights, utilizing the same optics plates as Stoeger's STR-9 pistol line. Meanwhile, the 20-gauge M3020 features a pre-installed Picatinny rail for straightforward optics attachment.

Quick-detachable sling swivel studs come standard on both shotguns, along with an included paracord sling for field convenience. The entire package – furniture, barrel, and receiver – wears a Mossy Oak Bottomland camouflage finish for enhanced concealment during turkey hunts.

The M3000 Turkey Edition weighs in at 6.9 pounds, while the M3020 – reflecting the growing popularity of 20-gauge for turkey hunting as smaller-gauge ammunition performance improves – offers a lighter alternative at just 5.4 pounds.

Both Stoeger Turkey Edition shotguns are identically priced with a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $699.
