Staccato Introduces Compact HD C3.6: A Duty-Grade 2011 in G19-Compatible Format

Staccato has expanded its popular HD series this week with the launch of the HD C3.6, a compact variant that consolidates the proven features of its full-sized counterparts into a more portable and concealable platform designed for everyday carry.
Compact Design with Standard Magazine Compatibility
The "C" designation in the Staccato HD C3.6 nomenclature denotes its compact configuration. Each pistol ships from the factory with 15-round Mec-Gar magazines compatible with the Glock 19 pattern, mirroring the approach Staccato took with the P4 HD, which utilizes 18-round G17-pattern magazines. This magazine compatibility offers users access to a wide array of aftermarket and OEM magazine options.
Lightweight Alloy Construction
To reduce overall weight while maintaining structural integrity, the HD C3.6 features an alloy frame machined from 7075-T6 aluminum instead of the steel frame found on larger HD models. This material choice makes the pistol more comfortable for extended carry periods without compromising durability.
Premium HD Features in a Smaller Package
Despite its reduced dimensions, the HD C3.6 retains the full suite of HD-series enhancements:
- Ambidextrous controls for left and right-handed shooters
- Staccato's HD HOST optic mounting system with integrated backup iron sights
- 4.5-pound single-action-only trigger delivering crisp, predictable breaks
- Drop-safe active firing-pin block for enhanced safety
