Military-Inspired Design Meets Precision Engineering
Spuhr has announced the expansion of their acclaimed RDF mounting series with three new variants specifically engineered for absolute co-witness applications. The RDF product line originally emerged from collaboration with a European military unit seeking an optimal mounting solution for the Aimpoint Micro T-2 and 3XMag-1 magnifier combination, and has since evolved into one of the company's most successful offerings.
The Latest RDF Additions
Targeting Absolute Co-Witness Requirements
The newest additions to the RDF family cater to users who demand absolute co-witness capability, introducing three specialized mounting solutions: the RDF-20153 Aimpoint T-2/CompM5 Flip Mount, the RDF-20153K Aimpoint T-2/CompM5 Magnifier Mount, and the RDM-20153 Ø30 Magnifier Yoke Assembly, all featuring the precise H39mm/1.53" height specification.
RDF-20153 Aimpoint T-2/CompM5 Flip Mount Specifications
Primary Mount Design
The RDF-20153 Aimpoint T-2/CompM5 Flip Mount H39mm/1.53" PIC is a 39 mm high (absolute co-witness) fixed mount for the Aimpoint® Micro® T-2™ and CompM5™ red dot sights (the height is measured from the top of the rail to the centerline of the optic).

Magnifier Integration Capability
The RDF-20153 was designed for use with the RDM-20153 Ø30 Magnifier Yoke Assembly H39mm/1.53", which allows the user to attach an Aimpoint® 3XMag™ Magnifier, or similar products with a 30 mm outer tube diameter, to the RDF-20153. The magnifier can then be shifted from the down/use position to the out/stowed position, depending on the operator's requirement, or it can be removed all together, all without the need for tools.
Construction and Materials
The mount is machined from 7075 T651 aluminum alloy and is hardcoat anodized. The mount uses two 10.9 Grade M5x16 Torx 20 fasteners, which are Zinc-Nickel treated for corrosion protection and waxed for proper torque values. Included with the mount are five Torx 10 screws for attaching the optic to the mount.
Compatibility Notes
NOTE: The RDF-20153 is designed for use with red dot sights featuring the Aimpoint® Micro® footprint and the same optical axis as the CompM5™ and T-2™ on rifles with MIL-STD-1913 or STANAG 4694 rails. For use with red dot sights featuring the Aimpoint® Acro® footprint, the RDF-20153 can be used together with the A-0056 Micro-to-Acro interface.
RDF-20153K Complete Magnifier System
Integrated Solution Overview
The RDF-20153K Aimpoint T-2/CompM5 Magnifier Mount H39mm/1.53" PIC is a 39 mm high (measured from the top of the rail to the centerline of the optic) mount for the Aimpoint® Micro® T-2™ and CompM5™ red dot sights with a fold-to-side removable yoke assembly for an Aimpoint® 3X-C™, 3X-P™, or legacy 3XMAG™ magnifier.

System Components and Functionality
The RDF-20153K consist of an RDF-20153 Aimpoint T-2/CompM5 Flip Mount and an RDM-20153 Magnifier Yoke Assembly, which allows the user to attach an Aimpoint® 3XMag™ Magnifier, etc., to the RDF-20153. The magnifier can be shifted from the down/use position to the up/side position, depending on the operator's requirement, or it can be removed altogether – all without the need for tools.
Platform Optimization
Based on the RDF-20225K magnifier mount, the RDF-20153K provides an absolute co-witness form factor for platforms sharing the AR15/M4 sight axis.

Usage Guidelines
NOTE: The RDF-20153K is designed for use with red dot sights featuring the Aimpoint Micro footprint and the same optical axis as the CompM5 and T-2 on rifles with MIL-STD-1913 or STANAG 4694 rails.
RDM-20153 Magnifier Yoke Assembly Details
Lightweight Modular Design
The RDM-20153 Ø30 Magnifier Yoke Assembly H39mm/1.53" is a lightweight foldable yoke assembly designed to attach to the rear of the QDF-20153 Aimpoint T-2/CompM5 Flip Mount H39mm/1.53" QD and the RDF-20153 Aimpoint T-2/CompM5 Flip Mount H39mm/1.53" PIC.
Operational Versatility
The RDM-20153 allows the user to attach an Aimpoint® 3XMag™ Magnifier, or similar products with a 30 mm outer diameter, to the rear of a QDF-20153 and/or RDF-20153 mount, to be used in concert with an Aimpoint CompM5 or Micro T-2 sight, etc., after which the magnifier can be shifted back and forth from the down/use position to the up/side position, depending on the operator's requirement, or it can be removed altogether – all without the need for tools.
Build Quality and Materials
The yoke is machined from 7075 T651 aluminum alloy and is hardcoat anodized. The spigot and locking block are machined from steel, which have been coated for corrosive resistance. The yoke uses two 10.9 Grade M4x10 Torx 20 fasteners, which are Zinc-Nickel treated for corrosion protection and waxed for proper torque values.
Dimensional Specifications
NOTE: When attached to the QDF-20153 or the RDF-20153 mounts, the yoke assembly is 30 mm/1.18" in length (regardless of whether it is in the down/use position to the up/side position). When not attached to a mount, the RDM-20153 yoke assembly is 64 mm/2.5" in length.
Market Positioning and Applications
These new RDF variants represent Spuhr's commitment to providing precision-engineered mounting solutions that meet the exacting standards of military and civilian users alike. The absolute co-witness height specification ensures seamless integration with existing sight systems while maintaining the tool-free operation and robust construction that has made the RDF series a trusted choice among professional users and enthusiasts.
