At SHOT Show 2026, we stopped by Nocpix USA (powered by InfiRay Outdoor) to take a look at their newest thermal scanners—and the theme this year is clear: higher resolution, integrated rangefinders, and refined form factors.

From compact handheld units to full 1280-resolution binocular thermals, Nocpix is expanding aggressively into both predator hunting and long-range detection markets.

Lumi H35R: Compact Scanner With Integrated LRF

The new Lumi H35R expands the popular Lumi lineup with a lightweight, no-frills thermal scanner that now includes a built-in laser rangefinder (LRF).

Key features:

  • 640-resolution sensor

  • 2.5x base magnification

  • Onboard LRF integrated under the objective lens

  • Compact, rangefinder-style form factor

Designed to be roughly the size of a standard daytime rangefinder, the H35R keeps things simple and portable while adding true ranging capability—making it ideal for hunters who want fast detection without carrying a full-size optic.

Vista 1280: Long-Range Thermal Leader

For users who want more reach and sharper identification, Nocpix introduced a new Vista 1280 model.

Highlights include:

  • 1280-resolution thermal sensor

  • 50mm objective lens

  • Integrated LRF

  • 2x base magnification

  • High-visibility 2560 HD display

This is aimed squarely at serious long-range hunters and target ID users. The 1280 sensor dramatically improves image clarity, while the 2560 display delivers a highly detailed image when magnified. According to Nocpix, this model sets a new standard in its class for resolution and detection capability.

Quest S50R: 1280 Thermal Binocular System

Rounding out the lineup is the new Quest S50R, an expansion of Nocpix’s popular Quest bino series.

Key specs:

  • 1280-resolution sensor

  • Integrated LRF

  • Germanium objective lens

  • 2x base magnification

  • Dual-eye thermal display

Unlike monocular thermals, the Quest S50R delivers the image to both eyes, reducing fatigue and improving depth perception during extended glassing sessions. Independent diopter adjustment and adjustable interpupillary distance ensure a comfortable fit.

Controls are intuitive and easy to locate:

  • Dedicated LRF button

  • Camera capture button

  • Focus wheel

  • Zoom control on top of the unit

The familiar binocular form factor makes the transition from traditional glass to thermal seamless—especially for hunters who spend long hours scanning.

Final Thoughts

At SHOT Show 2026, Nocpix made it clear that 1280-resolution thermals are becoming more accessible across multiple form factors—from compact handheld scanners to full-featured binocular systems.

With integrated rangefinders now standard across much of the lineup, hunters and long-range users can detect, identify, and range targets without switching devices.
