At SHOT Show 2026, we spent time at the booth of Fierce Firearms to get hands-on with two very different—but equally high-end—new products: a low-production double-stack 1911 pistol and the brand-new Dirti 8 titanium suppressor.
Both releases reflect Fierce’s focus on premium materials, tight tolerances, and listening closely to dealer and customer feedback.
New Double-Stack 1911: Hand-Built and Purpose-Driven
Fierce Firearms introduced a 4.25-inch double-stack 1911, available now, and built in extremely limited numbers—currently by just two dedicated pistol builders.
Key highlights include:
-
Hand-fit construction throughout
-
EGW internal components
-
Red Dirt trigger
-
Bull barrel design
-
Native RMR optics cut (no plate required)
When shipped, the pistol will include an optional plate with integrated iron sights, allowing shooters to run either irons or a red dot out of the box.
The pistol ships with two 19-round Check-Mate magazines and is compatible with most double-stack 1911 magazines. Current trigger pull is tuned to approximately 3 pounds, balancing performance with shootability.
Pricing & Variants
-
MSRP: $3,500
-
Initial caliber: 9mm
-
10mm version coming in the fall, expanding to a full-size 5-inch Government model
While the 9mm may eventually see porting, Fierce expects the 10mm version to be ported from the start, pending customer and dealer feedback.
Grip, Controls & Finish Options
The pistol currently runs an aggressive aluminum Cheely grip, offering exceptional traction—even with wet or slippery hands. Fierce plans to eventually bring grip production in-house with subtle design refinements.
Controls follow traditional double-stack 1911 conventions:
-
Slim ambidextrous safeties
-
No ambi mag release or ambi slide stop
At launch, two colorways are planned:
-
Midnight Bronze with black components
-
Cobalt Kinetics Green with black components
Additional finishes may follow based on market demand.
Dirti 8 Suppressor: Lightweight, Over-the-Barrel Design
Fierce Firearms also unveiled the Dirti 8 suppressor, a fully titanium, over-the-barrel (OBX) design aimed at reducing forward weight and improving rifle balance.
Core specifications:
-
8-baffle system
-
Fully assembled weight: 13.5 oz
-
Front-only configuration weight: ~9 oz
-
Rated up to .300 Remington Ultra Magnum (18” barrel)
-
Full-auto tested
The over-the-barrel design shifts mass rearward, helping avoid the nose-heavy feel common with traditional front-mounted suppressors.
Mounting, Calibers & Availability
The Dirti 8 is:
-
Direct-thread only (not HUB compatible)
-
Standard thread: 5/8x24
-
Optional 1/2x28 adapter available upon request
Initial finish options include:
-
Black
-
Tungsten Cerakote
-
Smoked Bronze
The suppressor is .30 caliber, with interchangeable front caps planned for a future release. Retail pricing is set at $999, with availability expected within the next month through Fierce dealers or direct purchase.
Final Thoughts
Fierce Firearms’ SHOT Show 2026 lineup blends meticulous craftsmanship with smart engineering choices. From a hand-built double-stack 1911 designed for serious shooters to a lightweight, balance-focused suppressor, these releases clearly target enthusiasts who value refinement over mass production.
