SHOT Show 2026: Diamondback Firearms Expands Revolvers, Suppressors & the .338 ARC Platform

At SHOT Show 2026, we caught up with Diamondback Firearms to walk through a surprisingly broad lineup of new releases. From updated SDR revolvers, to a full family of additively manufactured suppressors, and a newly refined .338 ARC AR platform, Diamondback is clearly pushing deeper into both defensive and tactical categories this year.

SDR Revolver Line Grows: .38 Special & High-Polish .357

Diamondback continues to expand its SDR revolver lineup, originally launched a few years ago, with two notable additions for 2026.

New SDR .38 Special (Aluminum Frame)

  • Lightweight aluminum frame

  • Hammerless design

  • Fiber optic sights

  • Updated, modernized exterior styling

Beyond looks, Diamondback focused heavily on ergonomics and longevity. The crane link and cylinder release system were redesigned to reduce wear on springs and pins, helping extend service life.

This model is shipping now, having officially launched on December 26, and is available through all major distributors.

High-Polish SDR .357 (Hammerless)
Diamondback also introduced a high-polish finish option for its hammerless .357 Magnum SDR, maintaining the same ergonomics and internal improvements while offering a more refined aesthetic.

New Diamondback Suppressors: Fully 3D Printed

One of the bigger surprises at the booth was Diamondback’s entry into suppressors. All of their suppressors are:

  • Additively manufactured (3D printed)

  • Constructed from Inconel

  • Equipped with a welded, non-removable 17-4 stainless steel end cap

The fixed end cap is designed to reduce flash and enhance durability. All models are HUB-mount compatible, full-auto rated, and ship with no barrel length restrictions.

Available calibers include:

  • .22 / 5.7-rated suppressor

  • 5.56 suppressor (5.5 inches long, ~1.55" diameter)

  • .30 caliber suppressor

Suppressors are available now in Black and FDE and are already shipping through distribution channels.

338 ARC AR Platform: Reliability-Focused Engineering

Diamondback also showcased a new .338 ARC AR platform, with a heavy emphasis on reliability across ammunition types and magazines.

Key features include:

  • Suppressor-ready muzzle setup

  • Superlative Arms adjustable gas block

  • Radian charging handle

  • Magpul brace

  • Refined feed ramp geometry

Diamondback engineers focused on solving magazine compatibility issues common with larger-caliber AR platforms. The result is a system that reliably feeds supersonic and subsonic loads and runs across magazines typically used for 7.62x39, 6.5 Grendel, and .400-based mags.

All of the reliability work is contained in the upper receiver, meaning shooters can run the .338 ARC upper on any standard M4 lower. The model shown features a 10.5-inch barrel, and both complete rifles and uppers are shipping now, with uppers available directly from Diamondback’s website.
