At SHOT Show 2026, we caught up with CMC Triggers and San Tan Tactical to get a first look at what they’re bringing to market in 2026—and it’s clear this year marks a major expansion beyond triggers alone.
From an all-new 2011 pistol lineup to value-driven ARs, a refined ambi rifle prototype, and a striking 6ARC platform, the Fort Worth–based teams are leaning hard into in-house manufacturing and performance-focused design.
CMC Triggers Enters the 2011 Space: The Valley 9
One of the biggest announcements is CMC’s move into pistols with the Valley 9 2011. The lineup will include:
- Full-size model (launching first)
- Commander model (coming later in 2026)
The full-size Valley 9 is scheduled to ship mid–Q1 2026, with Q2 as a worst-case window. The pistol is entirely made in-house in Fort Worth, Texas, and carries an MSRP of $3,299.
Notable details include:
- MJD grips
- Purpose-driven stippling, designed specifically around slide-racking hand placement
- Lifetime warranty, including coverage for gunsmith work when performed properly
The Commander model is currently still in prototyping and is expected around Q4 2026, with final decisions still being made on features like iron sight inclusion.
San Tan Tactical Forge Line: Accessible Performance
Next up is the San Tan Tactical Forge Line, aimed at offering a more accessible rifle while maintaining San Tan’s design standards.
Key specs and features:
- Standard forged receiver set
- Non-ambi controls
- CMC-made wedge lock rail
- Carbine buffer system
- Enhanced mil-spec trigger
Pricing is set at $1,199 MSRP, with expected street pricing around $999, making it one of the more value-oriented rifles in San Tan’s lineup.
San Tan Tactical V2 Rifle: Prototype Preview
Also on display was prototype #1 of the San Tan Tactical V2 rifle, a near-final preview of what’s coming later in 2026.
While pricing and release timing haven’t been finalized, this prototype represents roughly a 90% solution of the final product. Updates and refinements include:
- Forward assist repositioned forward
- Smaller brass deflector
- Updated fencing around ambidextrous controls
- Transition from pocket cuts to clean facets
- Fully smoothed receivers
The rail design is expected to change before release, but the core rifle architecture is already locked in.
RAL 8000 6ARC Rifle: A New Caliber Option
Rounding out the announcements is a visually striking RAL 8000–finished 6ARC rifle, planned in:
- 16-inch
- 14.5-inch
- Potentially an 18-inch configuration
Barrel lengths are still being finalized, and the rifle may launch as an RSR-exclusive. Availability is expected within the next month or two, making this one of the earliest 2026 releases shown at the booth.
Final Thoughts
CMC Triggers andA San Tan Tactical are clearly scaling up in 2026—without outsourcing quality. With every component made in-house in Texas, their SHOT Show 2026 lineup blends premium pistols, affordable AR platforms, and forward-looking rifle designs into a cohesive expansion strategy.
