BUL Armory continues to solidify its reputation as a serious contender in the premium production 1911 and 2011 space, and SHOT Show 2026 was no exception. This year’s lineup showcased a mix of competition-focused innovation and modernized duty-style pistols. Here’s a closer look at what stood out.

BUL Fireball 2011

The Fireball is BUL Armory’s take on a ready-to-run Open Division competition pistol, built for shooters who want every possible mechanical advantage straight out of the case. Designed around a 2011 platform, it arrives fully equipped for high-level competition without requiring immediate aftermarket upgrades.

With an MSRP of $3,950, the Fireball ships with three magazines, four optics mounting plates, and multiple recoil spring options, allowing shooters to tune the pistol to their preferred load and shooting style. This is a race gun through and through, focused on speed, recoil control, and adaptability.

Two of the Fireball’s standout features will also be offered separately as accessories.

The Link Trigger System is a modular trigger solution that allows shooters to swap trigger shoes using a single screw—no firearm disassembly required. The process takes under 30 seconds, making it easy to switch between flat, curved, or other trigger profiles. For competitors who obsess over trigger geometry and feel, this system makes testing and fine-tuning significantly easier.

Another notable addition is the Pyrus Thumbrest Kit, which mounts to the side of the pistol and provides an oversized thumb rest designed to help manage recoil and drive the gun faster between shots. The thumb pad position is fully adjustable, offering multiple mounting points and angles. Left-handed shooters aren’t left out—the system is fully reversible. BUL also offers a Pyrus Optic Mount, which integrates the same thumb rest with an optic mounting platform and BAO optic plates. This setup is compatible with frames already drilled for C-More optic mounting screws.

1911 SOF & SOF Pro

BUL Armory also expanded its 1911 lineup with the SOF series, a modernized Commander-length pistol chambered in 9mm. The SOF features a 4.25-inch bull barrel paired with a standard accessory rail, making it suitable for weapon lights or laser modules.

Optics readiness comes standard thanks to BUL’s BAO mounting system, with included plates for popular footprints such as RMR, RMSc, and DPP. The base SOF model carries an MSRP of $1,950 and is offered in either silver or black PVD finishes.

Stepping up to the SOF Pro adds V8-style barrel porting for improved recoil management and faster follow-up shots. The SOF Pro is priced at $2,150. Both SOF variants ship with three magazines.
