Savage Arms has revealed a refreshed take on the Model 110—America’s longest continuously produced bolt-action rifle. The latest generation introduces the AccuFit V2 stock with toolless adjustments, refinements to the receiver and bolt for smoother operation, and an updated magazine design. The rollout spans 16 core models and hundreds of SKUs, adding new chamberings and left-hand options across the lineup.

What’s New on the Platform
Savage focused updates on three areas: the stock system, the action (receiver and bolt), and the magazine.
AccuFit V2 Stock System
The new AccuFit V2 brings tool-free tuning for length of pull and comb height via the Quick Set Dial (QSD). Select variants also ship with interchangeable grip modules—small, medium, and large—to better fit different hand sizes.
The stock geometry borrows cues from the Axis line, featuring a higher cheekpiece and a steeper grip angle. This setup is intended to naturally align the shooter’s eye with today’s optics, which are commonly mounted higher over the bore.
Receiver and Bolt Improvements
Manufacturing updates include a “vertical cut” process in the bolt raceway area, designed to promote smoother bolt travel. The bolt head now uses a revised extractor claw to improve case engagement, paired with a dual-ejector arrangement for consistent ejection.
Savage’s second-generation AccuTrigger remains user-adjustable and crisp, while addressing a prior concern where the AccuRelease blade could bind if adjusted too light.
Updated Magazine
A new synthetic magazine debuts on the platform. Savage notes improved feeding and handling characteristics and confirms backward compatibility with earlier Model 110 rifles.

A Rifle With Deep Roots
First launched in 1958 by designer Nicholas L. Brewer, the Model 110 originally appeared in .30-06 Springfield and .270 Winchester with a retail price of $109.75. Over the decades, the platform has steadily evolved, introducing hallmark features like the AccuTrigger, AccuFit, and AccuStock systems—updates that have kept the rifle relevant across generations of shooters.
“The 110 is our longest standing rifle, and for good reason,” said Beth Shimanski, Vice President of Marketing at Savage Arms. “Building on the next evolution of AXIS that was launched in 2024, the new era of the 110 exemplifies Savage’s ability to maintain our standing as a heritage brand while staying at the forefront of innovation.”
With AccuFit V2, action refinements, and a broader configuration matrix, the updated Model 110 continues that legacy—modernized without losing the character that made it a mainstay for more than six decades.
