Rossi has enhanced its Lightweight Carbine (LWC) lineup for 2025 with the addition of a side-folding stock option, bringing improved portability to this single-shot firearm platform.
The break-action Rossi LWC, which evolved from the company's Poly Tuffy .410/.45 Colt survival rifle, maintains its core features while adding new functionality. Previously available with a fixed synthetic stock in calibers including .357 Magnum, 5.56 NATO, and .300 Blackout, the LWC has built a reputation for simplicity and reliability.
Standard features that carry over from the original LWC include the threaded barrel and Picatinny top rail for mounting optics. The new variant introduces a minimalist skeletonized side-folding stock design that reduces the rifle's footprint when not in use.
For current LWC owners, Rossi will offer the folding stock as a standalone accessory compatible with all calibers in the LWC series, allowing for easy upgrading of existing rifles.
According to Rossi: "The new LWC Folding Stock variant delivers the same trusted performance of the original LWC — now with enhanced portability and storage thanks to its durable folding stock. Whether you're out in the field or packing light at the range, this compact configuration brings a new level of convenience without compromising shootability."
