GIGN Partners with SwissP Defence to Develop Advanced 6.5 Grendel Ammunition for Beretta NARP

A strategic collaboration has been announced between France's elite counter-terrorism unit GIGN and Swiss ammunition specialist SwissP Defence. The partnership will focus on developing specialized 6.5 Grendel ammunition designed specifically to meet GIGN's exacting operational requirements. These new cartridges will be compatible with the Beretta NARP platform, which is now available in 6.5 Grendel configuration.
The development agreement encompasses three distinct ammunition variants, each engineered for specific tactical applications:
- FMJ (Full Metal Jacket): Engineered for consistent performance in both training scenarios and live operations
- Styx Action: Features controlled deformation characteristics optimized for tactical deployment
- Target: Specifically designed to deliver superior accuracy at extended engagement distances

Our joint efforts will produce cartridges that establish new benchmarks in both performance reliability and terminal effectiveness."
