Geissele has introduced a new trigger solution designed specifically for AK-pattern firearms: the AK-X with Lightning Bow. This innovative system represents a departure from traditional AK trigger designs by incorporating a complete drop-in trigger assembly featuring the company's Lightning Bow trigger shoe.

A Different Approach to AK Trigger Design

While Geissele has previously manufactured AK triggers, the AK-X takes a distinctly different approach. The existing ALG AKT-UL and AKT-EL models follow conventional trigger architecture, utilizing individual hammer, trigger, and spring components. These models enhance performance through refinements to the original AK trigger concept.

The AK-X distinguishes itself through its cassette-style construction, which installs as a single, integrated unit.
