Galco has expanded their premium Masterbilt collection with the introduction of the Master Agent, a streamlined shoulder holster specifically engineered for compact revolvers.

What sets the Master Agent apart from conventional shoulder systems is its distinctive one-sided configuration. By eliminating the customary ammunition carrier on the opposite side, Galco has created a significantly more discreet carrying solution with reduced printing concerns. The holster positions the revolver with a slight upward muzzle angle toward the rear, further enhancing concealability under outerwear.

In pursuit of maximum concealment, the Master Agent foregoes the traditional thumbsnap retention device found on many leather shoulder holsters. This deliberate design choice works well with the intended firearms—small-frame revolvers typically featuring substantial, lengthy trigger pulls—without compromising security.

Currently available exclusively in black, the Master Agent is compatible with Charter Arms and Smith & Wesson 5-shot revolvers featuring 2-inch barrels. Priced at $280, the holster can be purchased directly through Galco's website.

According to Galco's official product description:

"Small frame revolvers never went out of style and are more popular than ever. With the Masterbilt Master Agent™ shoulder system, Galco has resurrected two popular features for shoulder carry of revolvers: an open front design and diagonal gun angle.

The open front feature offers the smoothest draw, since no retention straps or other devices need to be overcome. Yet, the Master Agent retains the revolver perfectly by the use of an adjustable tension unit.

The positioning of the holster's swivel keepers hearkens back to Galco's original Jackass designs. The butt-down/muzzle-up diagonal configuration is universally acknowledged as the best combination of draw speed and concealability."
