Desert Tech made waves at SHOT Show 2025 with the launch of their groundbreaking Quattro-15 rifle, featuring an innovative quad-stack magazine system that's set to transform tactical operations. The new platform, priced at $1,899, represents a significant leap forward in firearm engineering.

The Revolutionary Quattro-15

The standout feature of the Quattro-15 is its revolutionary QMAG-53 quad-stack magazine, which packs 53 rounds into roughly the same footprint as a standard 30-round PMAG. This innovation allows operators to carry 210 rounds in just four magazines, reducing both reload frequency and overall loadout weight by 8%.

The rifle's match-grade stainless steel barrel, chambered in .223 Wylde, accommodates both .223 REM and 5.56 NATO ammunition, while its nitride finish ensures exceptional durability. The mid-length gas system, combined with a match duty trigger featuring nickel Teflon coating, delivers superior accuracy and reduced recoil for rapid follow-up shots.

For maximum versatility, the Quattro-15 includes an adapter that allows the use of standard AR-15 magazines alongside its proprietary quad-stack system. The platform features a 13.7" slimline MLOK handguard and fully ambidextrous controls, making it equally accessible for right and left-handed shooters.

Expanding the Lineup: Trek-22 and Wolverine

Desert Tech also introduced the Trek-22, a complete rifle system evolved from their popular 10/22 chassis. This compact firearm features an 18-inch threaded barrel, enhanced trigger system, and extended magazine release. The Trek-22's practical design includes built-in storage for two 10-round magazines, making it ideal for backpacking and field use.

The company's Wolverine carbine, an evolution of their MDRX platform, showcases improved features including a built-in trunnion and enhanced accuracy. Available in multiple calibers (5.56, 300 Blackout308, and 6.5 Creedmoor) with barrel lengths ranging from 11.5 to 20 inches, the Wolverine maintains Desert Tech's commitment to multi-caliber flexibility.

Legacy of Innovation

Desert Tech's foundation remains strong with their precision rifle lineup, including the SRS M2 and its Covert variant, alongside the larger HTI (Heavy Tactical Interdiction) rifle. The HTI accommodates powerful calibers including .50 BMG, .375, and .408 CheyTac, continuing Desert Tech's tradition of multi-caliber excellence since their 2007 inception.
