Browning has refined its already exceptional X-Bolt platform with the introduction of several second-generation models for 2025, including the versatile Hunter Composite variant that brings meaningful upgrades to an already respected design.
Available in 13 different chamberings with barrel lengths that vary from 22" to 26" (with the 7 mm Rem. Mag. version), the X-Bolt 2 Hunter Composite introduces the innovative Vari-Tech stock system. This new stock allows for personalized adjustments to both comb height and length of pull, while incorporating interchangeable grip modules and an enhanced 1¼" Inflex recoil pad for improved shooting comfort.
The rifle comes standard with Browning's premier single-stage DLX trigger, which demonstrated flawless performance in testing with zero perceptible take-up, creep, or overtravel. Factory-set at 3 lbs., 8 oz., shooters can fine-tune the break weight anywhere between 3 and 4 pounds to match personal preference.
With an MSRP of $1,180, the X-Bolt 2 Hunter Composite delivers substantial value for its performance enhancements.
