Beretta Unveils Impressive 2025 Lineup at SHOT Show: Hands-On Preview

Author: Nick Miles | Publish Date: Feb 27, 2025

It has been about a month since this year's SHOT Show, but we still have more videos that we are very happy to share with our community and our beloved customers, and to tell you a bit more about new product lineups, now that the main highlights are done and we have time to gather all new impressions from the SHOT.

Beretta's booth at SHOT Show 2025 in Las Vegas was a firearms enthusiast's paradise, showcasing an impressive array of new offerings across their tactical and concealed carry lines. Our team secured an exclusive hands-on preview and interviewed key Beretta representatives to bring you the inside scoop on these exciting new releases—all of which you can see in live preview in our embedded video below.

Tactical Innovations: New Chisel-Stocked Shotguns

A300 Patrol Gets the Chisel Treatment

Beretta's popular A300 Patrol shotgun receives a significant upgrade for 2025 with the introduction of the Chisel Machining stock. This isn't just about aesthetics—though the aggressive styling certainly turns heads. The new stock features an adjustable length of pull, accommodating shooters of various statures and allowing for comfortable operation while wearing tactical gear or body armor.

Perhaps most notable for practical application is the integrated mounting platform that allows users to install a red dot sight directly behind the iron sights, enhancing target acquisition without compromising the traditional sighting system.

1301 Tactical Mod. 2 Adds Folding Capability

The 1301 Tactical Mod. 2 shotgun also benefits from the Chisel stock upgrade, but with a crucial addition not found on its A300 counterpart—a folding mechanism. Due to the action design of the A300, implementing a folding stock wasn't feasible, but the 1301's configuration allowed Beretta's engineers to incorporate this highly practical feature. This folding capability dramatically reduces the shotgun's footprint for storage and transportation without sacrificing functionality when deployed.

In our hands-on demonstration, which you can view in the accompanying video, Beretta representatives highlighted the robust locking mechanism that ensures zero movement when the stock is extended.

Compact Carries: Classic Calibers Meet Modern Design

80X Cheetah Embraces .32 ACP

Beretta has expanded the 80X Cheetah line with a new caliber option—the venerable .32 ACP. This John Moses Browning-designed round, which served as a staple defensive cartridge for decades, offers exceptionally soft shooting characteristics in the refined Cheetah platform.

During our interview, Beretta's product specialists suggested we're witnessing a renaissance of this classic cartridge, combining adequate defensive capabilities with manageable recoil that makes it approachable for a wide range of shooters.

20X Bobcat in .22 LR: Tiny But Mighty

The extremely compact 20X Bobcat pocket pistol now comes chambered in the versatile .22 LR with an 8+1 capacity. Retaining the signature tip-up barrel design that makes loading simple without racking the slide, this updated model features several ergonomic improvements.

Beretta has relocated the magazine release from the European-style heel position to a more American-friendly position behind the trigger guard. The safety mechanism has also been made reversible to accommodate left-handed shooters.

Perhaps most surprisingly for such a diminutive firearm, Beretta has incorporated an optics mounting option on the 20X Bobcat. Our video demonstration shows just how seamlessly this feature integrates with the overall design.

The 20X Bobcat will be offered in four distinct variants, each featuring different grip options, barrel configurations (threaded or unthreaded), and sight heights (standard or suppressor-height).

Competition Ready: 92X Performance Gets Colorful

The tournament-proven 92X Performance pistol line now boasts an array of striking new color combinations. Beretta has introduced two distinct series:

  • The Dark Series: Featuring subdued, tactical-inspired finishes
  • The JJ Racaza Signature Series: Developed in collaboration with the championship shooter

As demonstrated in our video, these aren't just cosmetic alterations—each maintains the exceptional performance characteristics that have made the 92X a competition staple.
